Privacy - Why Does It Matter?
As technology links countries together, it becomes common for legal boundaries to blur and information to flow freely. It makes privacy in the digital age a matter of importance for not only the technically advanced, but also all citizens of any developed nation. As with many important and difficult issues, some argue that establishing a solution that can be accessed by the masses isn’t possible. Yet due to the support of millions of citizens from different nations, as well as the scientific capabilities available in the twenty-first century, privacy-enabling technologies have already reached the masses and are being steadily integrated into every-day life.
